One of those skills that we always seem to be working on is reading, writing and building the sight words. It is something we often use no matter what time of year it is.
The Sight Word Read Write and Stamp help build those skills by providing an easy to use format for kids.
This is one of the printables that I put into a lot of the BOB Books printables. It was one that we just loved to use. I thought it would be fun to put this into a full set of all the sight words!
I love having printables that I can use many different ways. We have used these so often over the years. They are fun and easy to make a hands-on activity as well.
Each sight word has an easy to cut out and use read, write and stamp section. You can use them one at a time or three on one page.
Here is a look at how we have used one at a time. I glued them on a paper and put them in a one-inch binder. This allows us to work on just the word we are working on. We used a fine point markers to trace and ABC stamps.
If you don’t want to do any cutting or pasting of single words you can print off one page and put them in the one-inch binder.
One way that we have been using them is to print them on colored cardstock and laminate the pages. This gives us something we can use over and over. I set up a literacy center with them. I give them several sight words, letters, and dry erase marker.
Here is what the cards look like after they have finished with the card. You can use many different things for the letters.
Here are some of the ABC letters we have used.
