Leaf Themed Beginning Sound ABC Clip Cards

A great theme for the fall is leaves. They start off at the beginning of the season and stay around for a while. That means them a fun theme to use in the fall.

I wanted to make a new set of ABC clip cards and I thought to have some seasonal ones would be loads of fun. So I made these free leaf themed ABC clip cards. They are great fun to use. Plus clip cards are great for sneaking in some fine motor work as well.

This set has 26 clip cards for kids to work on their beginning ABC sounds. Plus this is a great addition to our leaf printables on the site.

Each card has three letter options and a kid holding a leaf sign with a picture on it. You can see an example below of the card and how I set them up a lot of the time.

How we used these clip cards

I recommend that you laminate the cards so they last longer. We use them as just clip cards the first time. We use clothespins on them.

If you want to change it up and don’t want to use clothespins use leaves instead.

After they clip the cards they can then record what they have found. There are two sheets.

The first sheet has the ABCs all listed out on the same page for them to trace the letters in guidelines.

The second sheet is just the letters in guidelines. You could dot or just cover the letters. We use the leaves to color the letters.
