Flower activities are a favorite at our house! We love doing them. This book we read with these activities is a favorite at our house! We read it every spring!
We read Mrs. Spitzer’s Garden by Edith Pattou . Afterward we created our own garden and Crayola Model Magic
flowers.
Drawing Our Gardens
Free draw is always important to do. I love when they want to color their drawings!

We drew out our flowers and then painted them.

Model Magic Flowers
We love working with Model magic It is such and easy material to use and work with. Kids can be very creative with it. See below how we many some flowers.

What you need: Model Magic in different colors.
First they rolled out the stems and leaves for our flowers. This was easy to do and they picked how long the stems for the flowers would be.

Then they make the flower. First putting on the round center. Then the picked the color they would use for the petals and added them on. The final touch was adding the smiling faces on the flowers.
