I’m always looking for fun ways to put activities together. My youngest loves coloring things. We have been working on her tracing her letter as well. This was a fun way to put two activities together. Plus this is a great review of the letters as well.
Each of the pages has the letter in the middle and two pictures that go with the letter. The pictures have their names written underneath. This is to help the child and the parent talk about what the words are.
There are two different sets of these coloring pages. The first set has the three images at the top and the letters below to trace. These also work well in sheet protectors in a binder so that you kids can use them over and over.
The second type has just one letter to trace and an empty row for kids to practice writing their letters. This gives an older child who might be working on their letters a chance to practice some and color. One fun way we have used the words on the page, is to have my daughter use the trace and write to write the two words of the pictures.
