Our New Christmas Books For 2015

Every year we add new Christmas Books to our collection. This year is no different. We have found a few books. Each of us picked out a book at the bookstore that we want to add to our collection. Every year there are creative Christmas book and sometimes we find ones that we missed that are just as great.

I love using Christmas books as part of our countdown to Christmas. I’m always looking for new books to add to the list. It is a fun way for kids to explore the books and get ready for the season.

Harold at the North Pole is in print again. We just love the purple crayons stories. This one is no different. If you like the orginal you will love this one as well. I love all the creations that his crayon makes.

How to Catch Santa is a great book about creative ways to catch Santa that kids come up with. This is a great addition to the “How To” series. I love the creative questions that the kids ask in the book. It is a great way to ask your kids what questions they would ask as well.

Samurai Santa: A Very Ninja Christmas is a great and funny book about a ninja that wants a snowball fight for Christmas. I guess he is about to get one. I love how the colors work so well with the book. There are lots of different font sizes used in the book. I love when it gives you a chance to play with the how you will say the words when you read the book.

Rudolph Shines Again is a fun book about how Rudolph does not think Santa needs him. He goes out and finds that he is needed and helps some rabbits. The book has great colors and is fun to read.

The Spirit of Christmas is very well put together collections of pictures about some of the classic Christmas songs. I really love how it all works together to bring out how fun the songs are. I can’t wait to read this book with my girls.

The First Christmas Night is a great story about the First Christmas. I love how simply the story is told and how well it all fits together. I love having these types of story books to read as it gets closer to Christmas.

Santa Claus and the Three Bears is Christmas version of Goldielocks and the Three Bears. It is fun to read and watch Santa and the bears in the house.

  1. We have a lot of Christmas books, but a lot of them are for toddlers and preschoolers and I want to add to our collection this year; especially since I my boys are past that age. Thanks for sharing at #made4kids!
