Torn Paper Ice Cream Cone – Ice Cream: The Full Scoop

Torn Paper Ice Cream Cone

For the Virtual Book Club we read Ice Cream: The Full Scoop by Gail Gibbons. To be honest I had a hard time just picking one of her books. Her books cover so many different topics. The girls wanted to do something more summer. They picked the Ice Cream book. It is important at times to let them pick what we are going to do.

What you need: paper of various colors, marker, triangle cutout for the cone paint brush, and glue.

They tore the paper and used a paint brush to apply the glue to the paper. They each arranged their paper to make the ice cream.
