For this months Poppins Book Nook we read Pete the Cat: The Wheels on the Bus. This has been a great book to read at our house. We have loved the book. You never know what book your kids will just cling on to. My youngest has just loved this book. So this will be our school book for the school theme.

What you need: Pete the Cat: The Wheels on the Bus

The first time through we did the hand movements with the book.

Wheels: We rolled on the floor.

Horn & Signals: We pushed our hands in and out

Wipers: We swayed side to side with our arms in the air.

Motor: We did fast running in place.

Door: We did jumping jacks.

Kitties & Dog: We did crawling on the floor.

Driver: We did jumped backwards.
