February Virtual Book Club: Dr Seuss

Dr. Seuss is a favorite at our house. My girls would let me read them all day long if we had nothing else to do. I love the books for many reasons. The rhyming words are great that you can work on. They repeat a lot of the words in the books. Plus it is a great way to work on new words as well.

We have some favorite books at our house by Dr Seuss! I think the books I have read the most are Green Eggs and Ham and Wacky Wednesday . I love the repeating words in Green Eggs and Ham. Check out what we did with this Green Eggs and Ham Sensory Bin.

We have done several other fun activities as well. One of my girls favorites is always Dr Seuss’s ABCs Gross Motor. I love that this activity can be done with the board book or the full length book.

The three books for this month are: The Lorax, The Cat in the Hat and One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish (I Can Read It All by Myself).

We have done two activities with the Lorax. There are so many ways you can do it! Check out the Torn Paper Truffula Trees and the Yarn Truffula Trees. So we might be leaning towards the other books to see what fun we will be doing.

Looking for other Dr Seuss books check these out:

There is not linky for this but a group post that will have ALL the activities on it. It is really fun to see what everyone does! I still encourage you to do an activity inspired by one of the three books! It is always fun to have activities with books.

Check out the Authors for the year and the dates you can come see the activities!
