Free Winter Olympics Country Learning

The next of the little extras coming out to go with the Winter Olympics Pack

Free Winter Olympics Country Learning -

With Winter Olympics coming soon it is time to start getting some of these smaller printables out that I made to go with the Winter Olympics Pack. This is a fun 2 pages to learn about different countries or your own. I wanted my girls to have a chance to learn about another country and their own. So we are going to pick two countries to follow and see what happens.

We will be using the Official site for Sochi 2014 and Wikipedia to help us keep track with our learning project.

What can you find in these printables:

  • Draw the country flag
  • Look up facts on the country
  • Language Spoken
  • Number of Participants
  • Where they are in the World
  • Track the Medals
  • Follow What Sports they have Participants in

Books to read about the Winter Olympics:

  4. I’m having a hard time finding the information to fill out the country studies…I looked on the sites you listed, but they don’t list boys and girls separately, and I can’t seem to find a list of events they participate in….I’m I just not looking in the right places or maybe overlooking what’s right in front of me??

You have to do some digging on the sites to find the information. You have to go to the individual countries on wiki to get participant information and some to the countries web sites for the Olympics to find them. Just keep looking. This was never going to be an easy activity.
