Looking At Nature

Over the last few days we have taken a look at nature. We all took an early morning walk and saw everything that had recently bloomed.

You could still see the dew on the grass…

…which everyone had to touch…

…and touch again to see if they could make a drip of water stay on their finger.

We talked about how water drops are different on different plants.

Mary pointed out the sounds of birds. We talked about the different sounds they make.

We looked at plants that were dying and plants that were blooming and talked about how different plants live at different times.

Rose pointed out leaves had been eaten. We turned a few of the leaves over and found caterpillars.

Later we looked at the same leaves again and only found one caterpillar.

We also took a look the pollen covering the car.

While we looked around we talked about the changes from a month ago.
