For this summer I have created a fun printable to practice different types of writing. Writing can be easy to forget over the summer. This is an easy way to do something fun with your writing.

You can try 2 different dice (or cube dice cut outs for cube dice) and papers to write on.
We roll the dice 6 times and each time we practice writing what came up on the dice across the paper. This is fun and easy to do. There are lots of fun and easy ways to use this. You could use one of the die and practice writing in a salt or sand tray.

What you will find in these printables:
- 2 Folding dice
- 2 Cube dice inserts
- Two Writing pages
- 6 pages of printables

What ways do you practice writing at your house?

HI, I love the practice dice. Maybe I’m lacking imaginationm but I;m
not sure how to respond to some of the pictures e.g. wavy lines etc.
Thanks,
Gail Jenaway
They just repeat the pattern across the page. It is a way to practice writing.
Are these for just shapes or can letters and numbers be made from them?
This is just for shapes and lines to practice writing. There is a set that will be coming soon for ABCs.

This is one of the most ingenious ideas I’ve seen. I absolutely love it and I’m definitely going to use it right away. After doing shapes with my class (the basic circle, square, triange, rectange), I’m also going to use this idea to reinforce identifying the shapes and drawing them too!
I’m not sure how you intended to use the cards but I’m thinking of using them as play dough mats:)
Thank you so much for this. (Will post as a great ‘find’ on my blog)
