We read the book What Makes a Rainbow? Magic Ribbon Book and made a tissue paper rainbow. All this on a day when we got over 15 inches of snow. With the hopes that Spring will be here soon!

How we made our Tissue Paper Rainbow
This was a fun joint project with all of us. We did it in order of colors on the rainbow. It was fun to talk about each color. And also to talk about what is that color.
Purple – They made up songs about grapes being the color of purple.

Blue – Nice blue blue sky.

Green – The grass was green.

Yellow – The sun was yellow

Orange – Oranges are Orange.

Red – Is Amelia’s Favorite color.

After we were finished we huge it in the window to give us some color while everything outside looks white!

I love how you used wax paper! Such a fun effect!
Thanks we all had fun doing it!
I love this – the collaboration between them all and the size of the rainbow is fantastic as well – can’t wait till my two work together like this for longer.
Thank you for linking up to Tuesday Tots and just letting you know that I will be featuring this post over on Rainy Day Mum this week.
Thanks! It has taken a while to get to the point all of them could work together but it is great now. We do lots of group projects.
