<\/div>\nThe Farm Sensory Bin is a great addition to the farm activities<\/a> and sensory bins<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A sensory bin is typically a plastic tub or container filled with carefully selected materials and objects to stimulate the senses of children in preschool.<\/p>\n Sensory bins might contain rice, water beads, corn, beans, or other fillings with small items.<\/p>\n The farm sensory bin is made with a rice filler and then uses different types of farm animals in the rice with kids. A simple farm sensory bin that takes almost no time to put together.<\/p>\n Before starting the sensory bin, we read the book Big Red Barn<\/a>. Farm is an easy sensory bin to set up and use. And all this type of play in sensory bins is important.<\/p>\n Another activity that we did with this was some hands on counting. She took the animals and puzzle pieces from the bin to use on the Farm Counting Mat<\/a>. Another way to add a learning skill with the sensory bin.<\/p>\n This was a fun and messy activity that she just loved.<\/p>\n Farm Number Counting Mats: 1 to 10<\/a> are hands-on mats with counting and ten frames. You have a mix of farm worksheets and farm hands-on printables. <\/p>\n Farm ABC Letter Find Worksheet<\/a> has uppercase and lowercase letters that kids can find with a barn theme. You can trace the letters and then find the letters on the barn. A great no-prep farm worksheet.<\/p>\n Hands-On Learning With Tractor Color Clip Cards & Matching Book<\/a> is a fun way to work on color words. You can read the book and color the tractor and then clip the color name for each tractor.<\/p>\n Farm Shape Sorting Printables<\/a> has 4 shapes for kids to sort. It has four farm shape mats and haystacks with shapes on them for kids to sort. A great hands-on farm shape activity.<\/p>\n Cow Who Clucked Gross Motor<\/a> is a totally fun gross motor idea to do with kids!
