Last year about this time we had a Button Sensory Bin<\/a>. We loved it. Now we have a slight take on part of it with an ABC Sensory Bin.<\/p>\n

\nWe have been using these buttons and letter tiles forever. It was just after Halloween my youngest walks up with the alphabet buttons<\/a>\"\", bin, rice and the Appletters<\/a>\"\". She asked if it would be okay to play. I said sure. She then put the bin together and asked for the last few items.<\/p>\n

What you need: Big Bag of Buttons: Alphabet<\/a>\"\", Appletters<\/a>\"\", cups, easy grip tweezers<\/a>\"\" and rice.<\/p>\n

She played with this bin for over a week. She loves it. She likes matching tiles to buttons. She would also gather all button and tiles in the cup and then name the letters as she pulled them out.<\/p>\n

A second activity we did with this was match up the letters to the ABCs on the page. I used the ABC Dot Marker Upper case<\/a> for this. I printed all the pages on one page.<\/p>\n

I also had my youngest pull out the letters in her name. It was great for looking for letters and learning name. Then putting the letters in order.<\/p>\n

Sensory bins are fun and some times it is fun just exploring what is in the bin and not worrying about anything else.<\/p>\n
