After having so much fun with our Easter Egg Number Matching<\/a>. I though since we have been working on various CVC words with my middle Amelia, that we would have some fun with that. I also love to do puzzles with the girls. <\/p>\n

What you need for this activity: Jumbo Foam Easter Eggs (24 pieces per package)<\/a>\"\", black sharpie marker and Appletters<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

I made the word family eggs and cut them up in various directions. Then put them in a big pile for the girls to sort through. They each picked a color they wanted to do.<\/p>\n

After they finished sorting by color they sorted by word family words on the eggs.<\/p>\n

\"Easter\n<\/div>\n

Then they worked on the completing the puzzles.<\/p>\n

\"Easter\n<\/div>\n

When they finished the puzzle they then said the words on the puzzle. They would point to each word and when they have problems we would sound out each letter.<\/p>\n

Amelia did the last activity of making the words with Appletters<\/a>\"\". She would sound out each letter and then say the word.<\/p>\n
