How do you use your Calendar Cards? Is a comment question that I get asked. I love calendars. They teach so many different skills.<\/p>\n

Every month you see the great cards but don’t know what you would do with them. You lack space to put them up and no where to store them. I thought I would show you some ways that I use them. Nothing has to be used as it is intended.<\/p>\n

For both of these activities you print the Calendar Cards 6 pages on one page, scissors and a glue stick<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

For this first example you need a set of calendar cards<\/a> and the blank write in the number in from the Blank Calendar Set<\/a> for your current month. For the examples I’m going to be using the Rain Calendar Set<\/a> and the Flower Calendar Set<\/a>. You print the cards as shown above. For an older child have them cut out all the calendar cards.<\/p>\n

You have your child look at the blank write in the number for the current month. There is a * on the starting day of the month. You have them glue on the number for the day. This can be down with the pattern cards or the non pattern set.<\/p>\n

A second way to do this activity is to use the Single Page with the Pattern on the Calendar from any of the calendar sets<\/a>. I’ll be showing you an example from the Rain Calendar Set<\/a> and the Flower Calendar Set<\/a>. You print the cards as shown above.<\/p>\n

You have them glue on the calendar cards onto the matching pattern each day. So you will match up the pattern and the number. This is a good way to practice learning their patterns.<\/p>\n
