There is no set way that this star craft has to look. And kids can be creative in how they glue the stars on.<\/p>\n A simple star craft for kids in tot (ages 2 to 3), preschool (ages 3 to 4), prek (ages 4 to 5), and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6).<\/p>\n We read the book Red, White, and Blue (Penguin Young Readers, L3) by Herman, John (1998) Paperback<\/a>. We really like learning about the flag colors and their importance to us.<\/p>\n You could also read these books:<\/p>\n I love that this is so easy to do and fun for any holiday around the 4th of July and Flag day!<\/p>\n You are going o see how we made this star red, white and blue craft<\/p>\n You stamp out the stars from the stripes of paper. You can use the punch on the table if that is what works for your kids.<\/p>\n Or you can hold the punch off the table and punch the stars. You can do what is easier for kids to do.<\/p>\n You can use the paint brush and dip it into the glue and then paint the black paper with the glue.<\/p>\n You then place the stars on the glue. There is no right or wrong way to glue on the stars. You can have them overlap or apart. But it does not matter how they look on the paper.<\/p>\n You can also cut out the stars form the strips you used for punch out the stars. This is something that I was asked if we could do. And yes you can.<\/p>\n For the last part and she cut up some of the paper that we stamped out the stars and glued them on the paper.<\/p>\n You can repeat the steps above for the craft. But let kids decide what they want to do with the craft.
