I always look forward to seeing what books there are for the Virtual Book Club. This months Author is Donald Crews. We had this same author<\/a> around this time last year. He was a new author to me then but now is a favorite to read. We often check his book out.<\/p>\n

One of our favorite books of his is Freight Train<\/a>\"\". We have read it tons of times. We did an activity with it last year. It was our Counting with 10 Black Dots<\/a>. We have done the activity several times now and just love it.<\/p>\n

Some other favorites we have are: School Bus<\/a>\"\", Harbor<\/a>\"\" and Parade<\/a>\"\". I love how his books are simple and build on fun concepts. They are fun to read several times.<\/p>\n

This months three books are: Freight Train<\/a>\"\", Ten Black Dots<\/a>\"\" and Truck<\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n
