This months theme is Caldecott Medal Books. There are so many different books to pick from! We really had a hard time just picking one book. There are so many books to pick from. You can see some of our favorites in the introduction post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We decided to pick one from the honor section. We decided on Extra Yarn<\/a>\"\". I love this book because it has yarn. Yarn is so much fun to craft with. We have done several crafts with yarn and love it!<\/p>\n

This art project is simple and fun. It is also great for fine motor. I love that as my girls get older we are doing slightly more complex projects. But that my youngest can still do something simple when she wants to.<\/p>\n

What you need for this activity: yarn, glue, scissors and paper.<\/p>\n

Everyone decided the project they would do. They drew on their paper what it would be.<\/p>\n

Next was putting on the glue and doing the project! This was a great fine motor activity for the girls and I. We really had fun doing the project. We had fingers covered with glue and had fun.<\/p>\n
