I’ve made several different types of wall cards on the site. We have enjoyed having them to use. I thought it was time to add another type of card: Addition Wall Cards. These show all the ways to add up to one number. I put in the numbers from 1 to 20 for kids to learn with.<\/p>\n

I’ve made some wall cards for division<\/a> and multiplication<\/a> and we have really loved those. <\/p>\n

Wall cards are an easy way to display something you want kids to learn. You could just put up one card at a time as you work on the numbers. I like to put up the 4 numbers up at a time on our tri-fold board<\/a>\"\". As we learn the numbers I change up what is on the board. You can always change up how you want to<\/p>\n

Each of the cards has all the ways you can up to that number. It will have both numbers in the different spots. That means there will be 3+4=7 and 4+3=7. I put this in because sometimes when you are starting you don’t realize that they are the same thing. At least, it has been that way with my girls.<\/p>\n

I printed them cards on colored cardstock<\/a>\"\" with two pages on each page. I laminated<\/a>\"\" them and put them on a ring<\/a>\"\" so we could flip through them really easy. This is also great for when you have limited space at home to display them all.<\/p>\n

One fun way we are going to be using these is with the Gumball: Ways to Add printables<\/a>. It helps someone who is first starting out see all the ways on the printable to fill in the spots. If you have a younger child that might not guess all the numbers this helps them fill out the sheet. <\/p>\n
