The CVCC Word Family Word Path: ACK, ECK, ICK, OCK, UCK Worksheets are a great addition to the CVCC printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n CVCC words are words that have a consonant vowel and two consonants. The two consonants at the end are consonant blends. That is two letters that make their own sounds but are together. You can also have two consonants at the end that are digraphs that is two letters that make the same sound.<\/p>\n Words that have an ck at the end are consonant digraph ending sounds. So ack, eck, ick, ock, and uck are all have consonant digraphs at end of the word.<\/p>\n Each of these printables is base on the words in the CVCC Word Family Cards & Writing for -CK Words<\/a> and in the CVCC Word Family Wall Cards<\/a>. They both can be used as a reference for this activity as well.<\/p>\n Each word is easy to read in the squares. The rest of the words in the paths are more CVCC words that can be found in the CVCC Word Family – Flashcards<\/a>.<\/p>\n You have a mix of ACK words for kids to read and find. The ACK- words are back, hack, jack, lack, mack, pack, rack, sack, tack.<\/p>\n You have a mix of ECK words for kids to read and find. The ECK words are beck, deck, heck, neck, peck.<\/p>\n You have a mix of ICK words for kids to read and find. The ICK words are hick, kick, lick, mick, nick, pick, rick, sick, tick, wick.<\/p>\n You have a mix of OCK words for kids to read and find. The OCK words are bock, dock, hock, jock, lock, mock, pock, rock, sock.<\/p>\n You have a mix of UCK words for kids to read and find.
