<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\nThe Hanukkah Rice Sensory Bin is a great addition to the Hanukkah activities<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A sensory bin is typically a plastic tub or container filled with carefully selected materials and objects to stimulate the senses of children in preschool.<\/p>\n Sensory bins might have rice, water beads, corn, beans, or other types filled with small items.<\/p>\n The Hanukkah Sensory bin has a rice filler with Hanukkah coins and Hanukkah dreidels in the sensory bin. A great way to explore Hanukkah themes with kids.<\/p>\n We pick a book to read with our Hanukkah Sensory Bins. I do add some activities for them to do every now and then, but they are not needed. My youngest now makes her own activities from the sensory bins.<\/p>\n One of the first activities she did was run her hands through everything and then pick out on dreidel to cover with rice. She used one of the coins to put the rice on the dreidel.<\/p>\n The second activity she wanted to do was to make patterns with the coins. The coins have two different images: menorah and Star of David. It makes great for simple patterns.<\/p>\n She also did a matching of the color and correct symbol on the dreidel. This was fun to see her turn to make sure the gimel matching gimel with the correct color.<\/p>\n One of the last activities that she did was pull out all the dreidels and coins. She then put them back in one at a time. It was something fun she loved to do. She loves that she can run her hands through the different items in the bin.<\/p>\n This is a great activity to explore some of the shapes of Hanukkah Stamping<\/a>. This is s great activity you can do with kids of all ages. It would also make great Hanukkah wrapping paper when you are done.<\/p>\n Paper Roll Painted Menorah<\/a> is a great painting craft that you can do with kids. And it is loads of fun to make with only a few items.<\/p>\n Hanukkah Dreidle & Candle Sensory Bin<\/a> is a variation on our sensory bin that we have done before.<\/p>\n It is always fun to read books.
