The New Year’s Easy Reader Books are a great addition to the New Years Printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n Easy reader books are an easy way to great way to get learning tools into small hands. They can re-read them and call the book their own.<\/p>\n I wanted to have something fun to add to our New Year’s Eve. The New Year’s Easy Reader Books are a great book for the beginner readers. You can flip through the book and work on the same sight words words over and over with the New Year’s Eve words.<\/p>\n The New Year’s Eve easy reader books match up with the words from the New Years Pack<\/a>. You can review the words in the New Years Pack before doing these books to help them know the pictures in the books.<\/p>\n You have the following new years eve vocabulary words: party hat, glass, clock, confetti, sparkler, fireworks, balloons, and party blower.<\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n You will see a few ways to work use these new years easy reader books for new years vocab and new years reading.<\/p>\n You can use the New Years Pack <\/a>to work on new years eve words before reading the book. The New Years pack has tracing and writing options for the words.<\/p>\n The first book just works on the New Years Words and the sight word “the”. It is simply for the beginner reader. It has the sight word and a picture themed pictures of items from New Year’s Eve. <\/p>\n You can have kids underline the sight word the in the book.<\/p>\n The second New Years Easy Reader Book has the same pictures but builds more on the sentence. This easy reader book uses the sight words: I, see, & the. This brings three of the common sight words together for kids to read.<\/p>\n You can also work on the sight words in the book.
