\n<\/div>\nThe Shaving Cream and Foam Blocks Sensory Bin is a great addition to the sensory bins<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A sensory bin is typically a plastic tub or container filled with carefully selected materials and objects to stimulate the senses of children in preschool.<\/p>\n Sensory bins might have rice, water beads, corn, beans, or other types filled with small items.<\/p>\n This is a sensory activity that took me less than 3 minutes to set up. It spent more time putting the shaving cream in than anything. <\/p>\n It is easy for kids to play in as well. We counted a few times to see just how many blocks she picked up with just the shaving cream.<\/p>\n She did at one time make a small tower from some of the blocks. You can see how the block stick to each other with the shaving cream.<\/p>\n This is loads of fun to see them do. She also did a town out of different shape blocks.<\/p>\n After playing for a while, it was her goal to try and cover all the foam blocks and not have any of them showing or attached to her hands. What I really love about this type of play is that it is 100% driven by her. I don’t give any input into what she should be doing.<\/p>\n This is why shaving cream sensory play<\/a> is so much fun. You can scopy and pour. You can look for the different shapes in the sensory bin.<\/p>\n Wood Bead Sensory Bin<\/a> is a sensory bin filled with wood beads and great for fine motor play with a pipe cleaner for threading the beads.<\/p>\n Button Sensory Bin<\/a> is a sensory bin just filled with buttons that kids can use the scoop, pour and thread.
