They can re-read them and call the book their own.<\/p>\n The Snowflake counting book has 6 pages of printables with numbers 0 to 10. You can color the Snowflake, color the number words, and trace the number word. <\/p>\n Kids will learn: The snowflake counting easy reader book is a great printable for prek (ages 4 to 5) and kindergarten (ages 5 to 6). Or you can use it as a review for first grade (ages 6 to 7) for number words. You can count from 1 to 10 in the book like our fun snowflake easy reader book.<\/p>\n I always get asked how I make the easy reader books. Here are the simple steps that I use to make the books. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n Now you are ready to use your snowflake counting book with kids!<\/p>\n You can use the book in many ways, but you will see a few fun ways to use this counting book.<\/p>\n Each page in the book has the number word for kids to trace. If they struggle with holding a pencil<\/a>> you can give them a pencil grip<\/a>. That helps with pencil control.<\/p>\n You can use the book for hands-on counting below you do any coloring or writing in the snowflake counting book.<\/p>\n You can use these snowflakes<\/a> to place on each page as you read.<\/p>\n You can always start off by tracing the number name in pencil the first time through the book. The second time you might use marker to trace the number word. See more about the second later in the post.<\/p>\n This gives you a chance to work on handwriting number words while reading.<\/p>\n You can color the number word on each of the pages. This gives you a second way to spelling and seeing the number word on each page.<\/p>\n If you did the pencil tracing the first time, you can coloring it up by tracing again with a marker at this time!<\/p>\n That means you will have worked on handwriting for the number words twice while reading the book.<\/p>\n Finally, you can work on counting and coloring the snowflakes in the book. Each page has a different amount of snowflakes that kids can color. This is a fun counting book that you could work on one page a day or do the whole book in a learning center or even homework. You could also use it for morning work.<\/p>\n You can also work on the sight words in the book.
