Today’s tissue paper craft is a slight twist on that spring painting. We employed some of the same painting techniques, but added a slight twist with the spring tissue paper craft.<\/p>\n

We used the tip and side of the brush for this. You want to start on the side of the paper. You can do the right or left side. It does not matter.<\/p>\n After you have the main part of the tree branch made. You can add various sizes of branches off the tree. And you can be as creative as you want with this. It is fun to see the different twists and turns of the branches.<\/p>\n During the next part the branches of the free might need to dry a little bit. You can set the painting aside and let it dry.<\/p>\n If you are letting the branches dry you can give kids strips of pink tissue paper<\/a> that they can cut up to use on the tree. Cutting is a great fine motor activity for kids that as lightly older.<\/p>\n You might want to cut the tissue paper in advance for younger kids.<\/p>\n You can put dots of glue along the branches of the tree. Or you can do one glue spot at a time. We have found that more glue spots are easier to do.<\/p>\n You take a piece or two of tissue paper and crinkle it smaller and place on the glue dots on the tree. You can use just one color of pink or different colors of pink for this. <\/p>\n The pink makes it look like a cherry blossom tissue paper art craft.<\/p>\n You want to keep doing the tissue paper and glue until you have finished your tree. And remember this is another having fun. And there is not set amount of tissues paper that has to go on. they can put three pieces on and call it done.<\/p>\n You could also make this a fun full spring tree with blossoms.<\/p>\n Spring Blossom Tree Painting<\/a> is a great painting activity to hang in your window.
