We love making and creating with them. We did a slight change from the <a href=\"\/wordpress\/index.php\/paper-plate-flower-wreaths\/\">Flower Wreath<\/a> that we did two years ago. <\/p>\n<p>We took the felt buttons from our <a href=\"\/wordpress\/index.php\/flower-button-sensory-bin\/\">Flower Button Sensory Bin<\/a> and made a wreath with them.<\/p>\n<p>This was a great way to talk about colors and shapes and have fun while making the wreath.<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/5-2016\/paperplateflowerbuttonwreath.jpg\" alt=\"Paper Plate Felt Button Flower Wreath - a fun spring craft that is easy to make with kids - 3Dinosaurs.com\" \/><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>We had a lot of fun making these. It added a little fine motor activity for us. This was a craft project that I did with my youngest. I really do try and do a few things with them. It is fun to be a part of the activity and not just sitting on the side.<\/p>\n<p>We read the book <a  href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/015204633X\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=015204633X&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=3dinos-20&#038;linkId=ML275UIJ3QO7YXAR\">Planting a Rainbow<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=3dinos-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=015204633X\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>. It is one of our favorites. I love all the colors of the flowers.<\/p>\n<p>What you need for this activity: paper plate, glue, and felt flower buttons. We used foam brushes at the start but stopped using the after a while. We layered some of the buttons and others were put in single layers. It was tons of fun to make the wreaths.
