<\/div>\nThe Summer Bookmarks are a great addition to the summer printables<\/a> and bookmarks printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A bookmark is something used to mark one\u2019s place in a book.<\/p>\n Bookmarks can be used to keep track of where you read. But they can also mark your favorite place in a book<\/p>\n Every season has so many fun images to pick and choose from. Summer has many great themes, including the beach, sun, water activities, and more. Pick out the bookmark that works best for your needs.<\/p>\n There are 12 different bookmarks on 3 different pages. Each one has a fun summer theme on them. It makes it fun to switch up what bookmark they want to use. Plus I have them around for when they lose the bookmark they were using.<\/p>\n You can use these with kids in kindergarten, first grade, second grade and third grade. Really you can use them with older kids as well.<\/p>\n I have included some vertical bookmarks in the summer themes. You will find different themes on each bookmark.<\/p>\n You also have some horizontal summer bookmarks. Each of the bookmarks has their picture and their summer reading phrase. It helps the bookmarks last longer as well. You could also use the stardust cardstock for the bookmarks. It add a little extra color on the bookmarks.<\/p>\n If you have someone who will lose the bookmarks a lot then just print on cardstock. And summer seems to be a time when you need lots of bookmarks.<\/p>\n I have a few suggestion on how to use the summer bookmarks. And you might have other ideas as well.<\/p>\n The most simple way to use the summer bookmarks is to use them to keep track of your reading. You can do this with any book kids are reading. You can use chapter books or picture books.<\/p>\n I keep extra in our library box so they can always get another if they need it. Use these bookmarks all year!<\/p>\n These summer Bookmarks are perfect for chapter books or novels. And they are ones that you could use all year.
