<\/a>\n<\/div>\nThe Trick or Treat Bookmark Bookmarks are a great addition to the Halloween printables<\/a> and bookmarks printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n A bookmark is something used to mark one\u2019s place in a book.<\/p>\n Bookmarks can be used to keep track of where you read. But they can also mark your favorite place in a book<\/p>\n Bookmarks area a good thing to pass out at Halloween instead of candy. Since my oldest has celiac and she can’t eat much of the candy we enjoy non-candy items. So I try and have something like that for other kids who can’t eat candy but want to go trick or treating. <\/p>\n I love putting yarn on them and changing it up every now and then. I used orange, black and purple yarn.<\/p>\n There are 4 bookmarks per page. You are going to find 4 boys and 4 girls. They are all dressed up and ready for Halloween.<\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. It helps the bookmarks last longer as well. You could also use the stardust cardstock for the bookmarks. It add a little extra color on the bookmarks.<\/p>\n If you have someone who will lose the bookmarks a lot then just print on cardstock. And these are great to give out before Halloween or at Halloween.<\/p>\n These also go great with the free printable trick or treat coloring pages<\/a>.<\/p>\n I have a few suggestion on how to use the Halloween bookmarks. And you might have other ideas as well.<\/p>\n The most simple way to use the trick or treat bookmarks is to use them to keep track of your reading. You can do this with any book kids are reading. You can use chapter books or picture books.<\/p>\n I keep extra in our library box so they can always get another if they need it. <\/p>\n You can use these in chapter books for kids. They will love it.<\/p>\n One thing we have done with our bookmarks is writing page numbers on the back of them.
