The Washi Tape Christmas Tree is a great addition to the Christmas crafts<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n They picked out the book Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree<\/a> We have enjoyed doing simple crafts with this easy to use tape. Plus this is great for building fine motor skills while having fun. Everyone should have some fun. Plus I love that everyone had their idea of how the tree should look. It makes a great open ended project.<\/p>\n Plus this was a craft the four of us did together! It is fun when we do something together.<\/p>\n The first part we did was draw our Christmas tree outline on the paper. It would show us how big our tree was going to be. We drew a triangle for the tree and a rectangle for the trunk.<\/p>\n The second step we did was put the trunk on our tree with the wood grain washi tape<\/a> Our third step was putting the layers on our Christmas tree. I have seen loads of Christmas trees where they do layers and roll the tape across and we have done it too. We decided to change it up and make each bit of tape look like layers and branches on a tree.<\/p>\n our fourth step was added a star at the top of the tree with yellow washi tape. Everyone had different sizes and ideas for the star.<\/p>\n The fifth and final step was deciding how each of us would finish out the Christmas tree. We all wanted a floor under the tree. My girls wanted to add presents under the tree as well.
