So you will find words like cat and bat rhyming. But you can also find that cheese and peas also.<\/p>\n The rhyming planets and stars have a mix of rhyming CVC words, rhyming -VCC words, and rhyming CVCe words for kids to work<\/p>\n The focus is on the ending sound that rhymes. You are going to have the following rhymes: You can see one of the rhyming matching game pairs below. You want to match the star to the planet.<\/p>\n I laid out all the rhyming matchingcards and my girls got to look them over and had fun matching them. We look at the pictures and say the words and gets which ones matched the best.<\/p>\n Something else we did with the rhyming card game to make them easy to keep track of was put them on rings<\/a>. This allows them to flip through the rhyming cards to match them. Plus makes it easy to store them after you are done.<\/p>\n After we had a few matches we did some taping out of the rhyming words and wrote them on our space themed writing paper<\/a>.
