<\/div>\nThe Dragon Addition Card Printables are a great addition to the addition printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n Addition is the process of adding one thing to another. So that is adding different things together.<\/p>\n This is where kids learn one plus one equals 2 or 1 + 1 = 2. You start on simple and work up to more complex math.<\/p>\n These addition cards are fun because you build the equation from what you see on the cards. It makes learning fun and something different from just flashcards. Plus they make a great math center.<\/p>\n Each hard card has the two different dragons at the top to add together. There are 3 squares for them to write in the equation.<\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. And these are just a few ideas you can use with kids.<\/p>\n I like to print the addition task cards on cardstock. I also laminate them. I use the dry erase laminating pouches<\/a>, if we plan on writing on the cards.<\/p>\n Here is a look at how I set up the cards. I have the dry erase marker<\/a> and <clear glass gems<\/a> my youngest can use.<\/p>\n The glass gems<\/a> can be used different ways. You can match them to the dragons on the cards or make the equation on the card. It all depends on what you want to do. Below you can see how we use them above the cards.<\/p>\n It depends on the day but sometimes we don’t use the glass gems<\/a>. But the cards are still fun for my youngest to do.
