One of our favorite Earth Day Books is Curious George Plants A Tree<\/a> Trees are a great Earth Day theme and one that is important to remember. I love how in the spring the trees are really green and different colors of green as the season progresses.<\/p>\n We have made three washi tape trees. You can check out the fall tree<\/a>, Christmas tree<\/a> and Spring tree<\/a>.<\/p>\n What you need for this activity:<\/p>\n The first thing we always do is build the tree. We use the wood grain washi tape<\/a> Next was building the green leaves on the tree. All four of us had different ideas of what our trees should look like. It is fun to see how the mix of colors come together to make the trees.<\/p>\n After we finished out trees we put the grass on the ground.
