Summer writing is not always easy to do. It is hard to find subjects that keep kids going and having fun. It is fun to add a themed to this writing. <\/p>\n

For this, we have the Comparing Ocean Animals Venn diagrams. This is a fun way to work on writing while having fun.<\/p>\n

Ocean animals have been one of our favorite summer subjects. We are sneaking in this fun writing and science learning to help with our summer learning.<\/p>\n

One part about this set of printables is that they are no-prep. You can just print and use them. We added some of the Ocean Toobs to help: Safari Ltd Ocean TOOB <\/a>\"\" and Safari Ltd Coral Reef TOOB Set<\/a>\"\". It gives a hands-on look at the animals. Plus they are great for older elementary age kids to work on their writing and learning. Plus a little science mixed in as well.<\/p>\n

Each of the pages has two ocean animals to compare. There are 4 different combinations of animals. You have whale and dolphin, fish and seahorse, turtle and crab, and octopus and jellyfish.<\/p>\n

One the page there are two circles to help kids fill out information about the ocean animals in a single word or set of words. You can use books or other information to fill this out. We did a hands-on look at the animals from the Safari Ltd Ocean TOOB <\/a>\"\".<\/p>\n

After they have filled out the information there is a place where they can write a sentence about the two ocean animals using some of the information from above.<\/p>\n

If you want to do more writing afterward you can print out the ocean writing pages<\/a> and have them write more about the animals on them.<\/p>\n
