It is Five Little Pumpkins. We have done several craft projects with the book. It is still a favorite book many years later.<\/p>\n<p>My girls asked this year what we were going to do for the book. I asked them and let them think about what craft or painting project would be fun. They asked for a cookie cutter painting. I thought why not! It would be fun!<\/p>\n<p>Today I have a fun watercolor painting that my girls did for the book Five Little Pumpkins.<\/p>\n<div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/10-2017\/fivepumpkinsgatewatercolor.jpg\"  alt=\"5 Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate Watercolor - a fun easy to do watercolor painting - 3Dinosaurs.com\"><\/div>\n<p>I love to put a craft and book together. We each took turns reading the first Five Pumpkin books in fun voices. They pointed out that the pumpkins first have to have their gate to sit on. My girls started working on their gates and backgrounds. They both decided how they wanted their pictures to look and what colors they would use.<\/p>\n<div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/10-2017\/fivepumpkinsgatewatercolor4.jpg\"  alt=\"5 Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate Watercolor - a fun easy to do watercolor painting - 3Dinosaurs.com\"><\/div>\n<p>After the pumpkins had dried a bit they painted the faces on them. Kids can be creative when you give them simple ideas.
