Here are the simple steps that I use to make the books. I use scissors and a stapler.<\/p>\n You start by lining up the pages and cutting down the middle of the book. You want to make sure you hold the pages steady while you cut.<\/p>\n You alternate the pages of the book. The odd pages are on the top and the even pages on the bottom. You have even and then odd until all the pages are sorted.<\/p>\n After you make sure all the pages of the book are lined up, staple the book on the left side. Then your easy reader book is ready to be used.<\/p>\n See below ways we have used the Nativity Easy Reader Book. Plus a few printables you can use with the book as well.<\/p>\n You can go through and read the sentences and color the pictures in the book. Kids will love having their own book with the nativity words.<\/p>\n As we read the book we colored the picture and underlined the word that we were working on. It is a great way to work the two things together.<\/p>\n Another fun way to use the book is with Figures from the Nativity story. We use the Nativity Toob<\/a> which has all the people from the Nativity story and is fun for kids. <\/p>\n You will read through the book and find the matching figure or figures for each page in the book.<\/p>\n Another fun activity might be to build the word puzzle that matches the page as you read.
