Wall cards are great because they are something we hang up that kids can look at to review their sounds and word building.<\/p>\n

Today I have the newest wall cards for the Diphthongs. These can go hand in hand with the Vowel Team Wall Cards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I have two different types of diphthong wall cards and two different sizes. I know that there is always different needs in classrooms and homes. I love having the mix of card types. One that I can display and one that fit great in smaller hands.<\/p>\n

The first wall card type focuses on the sound that the diphthongs make. They have a big picture that matches the sound on the card. Plus the picture word is also written out on the card.<\/p>\n

The cards come two per page to make them easy to display for kids. We put ours on a tri-fold display board<\/a>\"\". They are easy to move around and store.<\/p>\n

The second wall card type has the vowel team sounds with matching the picture, plus words that have those sounds. I love having this type of card in the literacy centers for kids to work on saying or learning those words.<\/p>\n

There is a fun set of mini cards with both of the options shown above. You can see the difference in the size. These are nice because they fit nicely into small hands.<\/p>\n

The smaller cards work great for flip cards for kids! They can use the smaller cards on a ring<\/a>\"\" and flip through the different word ending and read the words. The smaller cards come in both types. I laminate<\/a>\"\" the cards to help them last longer.<\/p>\n
