The Dinosaur Shape Mats is a great addition to the dinosaur printables<\/a> and shapes printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n These dinosaur mats are so much fun. They can be used in many different ways. I can think of several and I’m going to show you a few of those ideas.<\/p>\n Each of the mats has a shape name and the dinosaur forming that shape. It is simple and easy to see. I laminate<\/a> the mats or put them in sheet protectors<\/a> to help the pages last longer. I know my girls did not.<\/p>\n One of the first ways you can use this printable is as a tracing activity. You can connect all the dinosaurs together to make a shape.<\/p>\n A second way you can use this printable is with playdough. They can connect the dinosaurs and make the shape using the playdough.<\/p>\n A third way you can use this printable is with dinosaur counters<\/a> and place a dinosaur on each of the dinosaurs around the shape. This makes a great hands-on activity.<\/p>\n A few more ideas are: using dot markers to dot the dinosaurs and cut the shapes out.
