\n<\/div>\nThe Finger Painted Planet Earth is a fun addition to the Earth Day activities<\/a> on the site. <\/p>\n We have done several craft and painting projects similar to this planet Earth painting. We have done planets<\/a> and moons<\/a>.<\/p>\n This is a Fun Earth painting that kids draw the earth and then use finger paints or paint to paint the earth. A simple and fun Earth for Earth Day or an space theme.<\/p>\n Earth! My First 4.54 Billion Years<\/a> is a fun book about the Earth! Kids will love all the facts and information about it. here are all the steps we used to make the finger painted Earth!<\/p>\n Each of us looked at a map of the Earth and drew on the contents for us to paint. We use the Children’s Atlas of the World<\/a> for this.<\/p>\n If you want to skip the drawing part of the Earth you can find an Earth template in the Earth fine motor mats<\/a>.<\/p>\n Then we filled in the paint into the ice cube trays. This made it easy to keep the colors together.<\/p>\n We all finger painted our worlds. I love projects like this because everyone has their own ideas and that is okay. And you see how creative they can be painting their own Earth.<\/p>\n We set our planets aside to dry and got the black glitter cardstock<\/a> to paint stars on it. We used q-tip<\/a> and white paint<\/a> and dotted around the paper. <\/p>\n We left the center of the paper blank because the Earth will cover it.<\/p>\n Once our earth and stars were dry we cut out the earth and glued it onto the black cardstock.<\/p>\n If your Earth starts to roll up have kids put something to help it keep flat.<\/p>\n Earth Fine Motor Mats<\/a> has an earth to color, Earth to q-tip Paint and Earth to trace. All great for Earth day or an Earth theme.<\/p>\n Model Magic Earth<\/a> is a fun Earth Day craft you can do with kids.
