Skip counting is one activity that you start on during the different years. You start with simple 5s and 10s in first grade and work up to hard ones as you go on.<\/p>\n

One fun way we have done it is to do activities that have you fill in the missing numbers with skip counting. It is one fun way to do it. Today I have a bus-themed skip counting task cards with matching wall cards to help with this.<\/p>\n

What is Skip Counting?<\/h2>\n

Skip counting involves adding the same number repeatedly. You have a pattern of adding or counting.<\/p>\n

So if you skip counting by 2s, you have a pattern like 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and so forth. These patterns can be repeated for many numbers.<\/p>\n

The most often used numbers are 2 through 12. And that is what these skip counting printables work on numbers 2 through 12 skip counting.<\/p>\n

There is a set of skip counting wall card in the set. They have numbers 1 to 12 on them. They work great on a wall or on a ring.<\/p>\n

You have the skip counting numbers at the top. Then the skip counting numbers on the bus below.<\/p>\n

There are four types of task cards. You have one filled out, one missing every other numbers, missing random numbers and missing all but the starting number. These are great to work on the different levels of learning skip counting.<\/p>\n
