I love sensory bins that take very little time to put together. Why is that? Because I want them to have fun without having tons of fuss about how long it takes me to put it together.<\/p>\n
Since animal activities are a favorite for us we did this zoo sensory bin with a big and small theme. Plus this is a small sensory bin that fits perfectly inside a shoe box container<\/a> What you need for this sensory bin:<\/strong><\/p>\n One thing I love about the toobs is that there are so many options and ways to learn with them. My girls love exploring the animals and types in the bin. One of the first things they did was play with them and then they sorted the animals by what they ate. We talked about each animal as to why it went into each group.<\/p>\n The second activity they did was sort the animals by what lived on land and what was in the water. It was fun to see how they creative land and water areas in the bin.<\/p>\n In this bin is so sizes of animals and some have matching small from the mini sets and some don’t. To make it a fun sensory activity I give them an animal name and have them find the big and small of the animal. They have to close their eyes and see if they can find it. They all had different ways of finding the animals. It was fun to see them play through the bin and find the animals. Sometimes they got it right and sometimes they did not.<\/p>\n The best part about this bin is that you can switch it up to any mini set. You can do farms, ocean or dinosaur really easy! They have big sets with matching minis.<\/p>\n Never forget that sensory should be fun and easy for kids to play with.
