And you can work on the letter L at the same time with the <a href=\"\/wordpress\/index.php\/free-romping-roaring-l-pack\/\">Romping &#038; Roaring L Pack: Lion<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And you can also do this <a href=\"https:\/\/alittlepinchofperfect.com\/paper-plate-lion-craft-for-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\">paper plate lion craft<\/a> with kids.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Dot Marker Paint the Paper Plate<\/h3>\n<p>We started off using the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Art-Markers-Rainbow-Washable-Original\/dp\/B00004W3Y4?&#038;linkCode=ll1&#038;tag=3dinos-20&#038;linkId=969433e4bb17baa456b99e54ed5b9871&#038;language=en_US&#038;ref_=as_li_ss_tl\">dot markers<\/a> on our paper plates. You could paint them with something else if you wanted. We did this first so that the plates would dry fast.<\/p>\n<p><div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/6-2018\/paperplatelion2.jpg\" alt=\"Easy To Make Paper Plate Lion - made with paper plates and torn pape, a fun craft for a zoo theme  - 3Dinosaurs.com \">\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Step 2: Punch Out Circles<\/h3>\n<p>While the paper plate was drying a bit we pulled out the white and black construction paper. We punched a big circle in the white and a smaller circle in the black. We then drew on the mouth after with a marker.<\/p>\n<p><div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/6-2018\/paperplatelion5.jpg\" alt=\"Easy To Make Paper Plate Lion - made with paper plates and torn paper, a fun craft for a zoo theme  - 3Dinosaurs.com \">\n<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Step 5: Tear Up the Yellow Scrapbook Paper And Glue on the Paper Plate<\/h3>\n<p>Then we tore up yellow scrapbooking paper to make the mane on the lion. This was fun. We all picked different colors of paper to use. We talked about how we would put the paper around the plate and each of us did our own way for it. It was fun to tear and glues the pieces. You can do as many whiskers as you want.
