The school ABC tracing strips are a great addition to the school printables<\/a> on the site. <\/p>\n We have included links to some of the products and resources we have used with this activity. You can use just the letters you are looking for or the whole set. They are great for any time during the year.<\/p>\n I recommend cutting and laminating<\/a> I always get asked about different ways to use them and I thought I would show a few.<\/p>\n I always get asked how I laminate the pages and cut the tracing strips out. Most often I like to laminate the whole sheet and then cut them out.<\/p>\n I do this because it is easier and I don’t have the laminate come apart as much. But it also depends on how good your laminator is.<\/p>\n You can store all the cards on the ring or just the letters that you need. I find that having a few extra rings to do the mix and match of letters is good.<\/p>\n Once the abc tracing strips are laminate you can trace them with dry erase markers. That makes it so you can use the letter tracing over and over.<\/p>\n If you have a child that is doing great with the tracing and you want to challenge them, then use a q-tip to have them wipe off the marker after they trace the strip. It is a great way to build fine motor writing skills.<\/p>\n If you are looking for something extra to go with these printables you grab the Pencil ABC Finds<\/a>! These are great and work on finding one letter at a time.
