After you read a number page you cover it on the chart. We use the unifix cubes<\/a>. This give them a fun interactive counting activity they can do with the book.<\/p>\n You can also work on the sight words in the book. This allows them to count the two items to see they match. But also to write or trace the number digit and number word.
