It is one skill we are always working on. And crafts have been an easy way to do that.<\/p>\n<p>Many years ago we did a <a href=\"\/wordpress\/index.php\/life-cycle-of-an-apple-tree-torn-paper-apple-trees\/\">torn paper apple tree<\/a> and we loved it. This is an easy way to give yourself a shape to work with and fill in.<\/p>\n<div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/9-2018\/appletreescrapbookpapertorn2.jpg\" alt=\"Torn Scrap Book Paper Apple Trees  - 3Dinosaurs.com\">\n<\/div>\n<p>We started working on the trunk of the tree first. This made it easier to see where we wanted to put grass to cover the trunk afterward.<\/p>\n<div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/9-2018\/appletreescrapbookpapertorn3.jpg\" alt=\"Torn Scrap Book Paper Apple Trees  - 3Dinosaurs.com\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Next, we put grass on the picture. We each had our own idea of how the glass should look. This is one of my favorite things about these craft projects. I like that each of us did our tree pieces a different size.
