One of the basic learning things kids work on is skip counting. We can find many different symbols to help with this. my girls have always loved books to help with learning.<\/p>\n

Since we have been doing more and more review of groups of I thought this would be a fun want to change up what we are learning.<\/p>\n

This is a free skip counting by 2 apple book<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

I wanted something that would work on building skills between each math type: addition, groups of and skip counting. We have loved the easy reader books over the years and having something new for this helps us each time.<\/p>\n

I have also learned that no one child learns the same way. A worksheet will work for one where a hands-on activity does for another. We have to meet the needs they present us.<\/p>\n

The book is just one way to look at the numbers with repeat addition and skip counting with a visual to help.<\/p>\n

Each page of the book has 2 apples in a basket, a number we are skip counting by and a matching repeat addition problem on the bottom to match the visual picture.<\/p>\n

We looked at each page and colors the apples in the baskets and then color the skip counting number. We looked at the addition problem at the bottom of the page. We did this through the whole book.<\/p>\n

At the end of the book is a skip counting chart that you can look at to see skip counting by 2s.<\/p>\n
