They are loads of fun to have. This year we change it up and went with a favorite at our house of torn paper wreaths.<\/p>\n<p>Even with older kids, I love having fine motor activities that don&#8217;t look like we are working on a fine motor. We try and pick books to go with our crafts. This year&#8217;s book for our wreath was <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2Ef5jbC\">The Sweet Smell of Christmas<\/a>. We made sure to cover the wreath in as much green as we could. We used two colors of green scrapbook paper to do this.<\/p>\n<p><div align=\"Center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/12-2018\/tornpaperchristmaswreath2.jpg\"  alt=\"Torn Scrapbook Paper Holly Wreath - a simple and easy fine motor craft for kids to make at Christmas time - 3Dinosaurs.com\"><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you notice we have a glue on a lid and are dipping our paper in the glue. This was a fun sensory activity as well as fine motor. Plus our glue bottle just would not let the glue out! I suggested doing this two ways. They could tear the red circles one at a time and glue them on.
