The fossils are arranged in many different ways. Most of them look like scenes from their lives. It is full of pictures, bones, and hands-on activities for kids. Plan on lots of time to look around!

The Museum of Ancient Life building is covered with a T-Rex picture. The girls enjoyed seeing this while we waited outside. We happened to go on one of the busiest days they had.

After paying the first area you see inside the building is a look into the life of a paleontologist. You could see someone actively working on a fossil and what type of fossil it was.

After traveling through a star-filled room you enter the Precambrian Era. This shows some of the big fish and bugs that were around that time. You see some fossils and well as replicas set up in scenes. Everywhere you look in the building space is used. Every display had plenty of information about what you are looking at.

This area was the start of the fossils set up in scenes. It is in the Upper part of the Paleozoic Era and into the Triassic Period. The girls liked to see them and did know a few of the fossils here.

After you leave the last room behind you come into the Jurassic Time period and see lots of different Fossils!

There are several areas in the Museum for interactive play with items. We got to do a few of them, but others were too busy.

Here are some of the other dinosaur fossils from the Jurassic to the Cretaceous Periods.

After leaving the dinosaur area you enter the sea life. This was a lot of fun. The girls do like Dinosaur Train and some of the sea creatures from it were in here. The fossils make it seem more real to them as well.

The final area of the museum is out of the Mesozoic and on to the early years of mammals and man. This was a thrill to see something different and we enjoyed it just as much as the other parts.

There is a small kids area for playing but this area was so busy the girls could not get in to play. Overall we had a great time and enjoyed everything we got to see. It was a wonderful museum with great displays and so well put together. I hope that we have a chance again to go back.

Cassie – 3Dinosaurs.com

Name: Thanksgiving Point: Museum of Ancient Life Location: Lehi, Utah Website: https://www.thanksgivingpoint.org/visit/museum_of_ancient_life/about.html Length of stay: 2 hours Thanksgiving Point Museum of Ancient Life is a great place to see many different types of fossils from different periods of development.
