We enjoy mixing the oil pastels and watercolors. I love that doing this type of process art each of us can do something different.<\/p>\n<p>This is an easy painting activity to do at any time of the year. It is fun to see how the end of the book. We read this book before we did our profress painting.<\/p>\n<p>We had fun exploring water and watercolor bleeding in the hearts. We made big and small heats as we went. it was loads of fun to make them. You take a brush with just water and cover the inside of the heart with water. If you can do it you want the water to bead up a bit on the paper. This one reason we use the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B004M59O4C\/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=B004M59O4C&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=3dinos-20&#038;linkId=bffee6ead8c82caefd7a8117d49d376d\" rel=\"noopener\">watercolor paper<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\/ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com\/e\/ir?t=3dinos-20&#038;l=am2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B004M59O4C\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>. We kept a brush that we only used for water. Then you lightly touch the brush to the water and watch the color spread. <\/p>\n<p>We did it in the center of the hearts as you can see below. If you want the color spread more from that area add more painting to the dot. Plus you can mix up the colors you use as well. I recommend getting something to hold it down.
