The Summer Spelling Puzzles Printables is a great addition to the summer printables<\/a> on the site.<\/p>\n These summer word puzzles are great because they are all summer themed words. I asked what words people used more for summer and these were a few of them.<\/p>\n The puzzles have the words: sunglasses, pool, sprinkler, hose, popsicle, flip flops, sun, sunscreen, swimsuit, swim shorts.<\/p>\n Each of the pieces of the puzzles has one letter from the word. This allows you to spell the words out.<\/p>\n This set has a few summer words to learn, but there is also a huge list of summer words<\/a> you can check out.<\/p>\n There is a mat you can use to build your puzzles on. All the puzzles will fit on it. Plus there is a space you can write out your word on after you have made the puzzle. We put our pages in a sheet protector<\/a> I recommend laminating<\/a> There are 10 puzzles in this set. So it makes it easy to work on just these words. I have them do the puzzles on the mat the first time through. Then they write the word on the mat. <\/p>\n Now if you want to change it the writing. You pull out the lacing letters<\/a> If you want to do more after you finish the mat you can have them trace the word on the matching recording sheet. This sheet has all 10 words in the set.<\/p>\n And a summer word search printable<\/a> would be perfect with the summer word puzzles as well.<\/p>\n Now if you want them to write the word you can. There is a page for writing the summer words.
